In the past 2 months, the Travelpayouts team has added 4 new people. They all are so different, and we want to introduce all of them to you.

Kseniya Tigunova, HR

We now have a new HR manager, the charming Kseniya who instantly won us over. Kseniya is originally from Novosibirsk, but now she’ll be traveling between our offices in Phuket, Moscow and St.Petersburg. She even promised to check on our remote employees.

Before joining Travelpayouts, Kseniya worked in game programming, and she still spends her free time playing every once in a while. For example, Kseniya started to play GTA again and she watches the TV series a lot.

TOP-3 TV series from Kseniya:

  • Mindhunter
  • The Haunting of Hill House
  • Love, Death & Robots

As you might know, we all are keen on sports and Kseniya is not an exception. She is now mastering boxing and, before that, she studied dance for a long time. She even won a cheerleading championship among IT companies.

Igor Gorbunov, SMM

Igor spent his childhood in Riga. There, he learned how to swim by sinking his father’s kayak halfway across the Daugava River and mastered playing the guitar. In school, he was even playing in a jazz band, and you still can find their performance on YouTube.

After high school, Igor tried his hand at many different things. He studied journalism at St. Petersburg State University, worked on television, played a Soviet scientist in his friend’s short film, helped organize the first environmental festival in St Petersburg, which taught him how to sort recyclables for life. Also, he ran two marathons, earned a diving certification and passed a beer server exam. Flying a plane is among his future plans.

On weekends, Igor spends much of his time with his favorite golden retriever Mishka.

Anvar Ryzaev, marketing designer

Anvar Ryzaev (friends call him Anch) was born in Tashkent, which he was really happy about, since the sun and good food are a must for his well-being. But eventually, Tashkent became too small for a sociable and curious Anvar, who then moved to Moscow and was greeted gladly.

One of Anvar’s numerous hobbies is street racing. In childhood, he dreamt of becoming a Formula 1 pilot and together with his mother supported Rubens Barrichello. Unable to become a professional racer, Anvar would often drive through the streets. That is until he rolled over his car at over 200 km/h. He decided to avoid taking that kind of risk, but is still passionate about cars.

At the moment, Anvar is building his own stance project based on Mitsubishi Eclipse G1 and plans on participating in Grounded and Tsunami Picnic festivals.

Amal Usmanov, developer

After high school, Amal decided to become a developer. The competition for this major was too high, so Amal entered the Bauman Moscow State Technical University with a specialization in Defence Systems and Astronautic Science. But, the passion for programming never went away, and Amal became a developer anyway.

Now Amal often dedicates his free time to pet-projects and hackathons. Programming earns Amal a good income. He once helped build a Bitcoin mining farm with ASIC AntMiner s9 and got paid almost $230 for one hour of work.
